Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If you need a home visit please telephone the surgery between 08:00 and 10:00 if possible. When requesting a home visit please give the receptionist as much information as possible which will allow the GP to decide on priorities. Any information given to the receptionist will be treated in the strictest confidence.

House calls should only be requested if you are housebound or too unwell to come to the surgery. House calls should not be requested because you can’t get an appointment or because you have transport difficulties.

We have far better diagnostic facilities and examination conditions at the Health Centre and can see 4 to 6 patients in the time it takes to do one house call.
